The body heals by change whether it is spiritual, physical or emotional. This change is impacted by an external influence which for our purpose is physical. In this workshop, we will be utilizing cool tones to initiate a change to the body's healing process. We do not want to overwhelm our internal systems; we want to challenge our norm and encourage the body's recovery. "It is not about being cold it is about receiving cooler temperatures." If your treatment room is not cool your client should not get cold. When working with stones no matter the temperature your body mechanics should be the same. The pressure and pace of the stone will change and will be adjusted to your client's tolerance for both temperature and pressure.
